“Urban transformation into accessible shared green areas!”
Urban Transformation! How?
Our project, Co-Education in Green and its agreed outputs, aspire to offer valuable and much needed help! It aims at empowering adult educators focused on community training that will meet the needs of urban citizens with disabilities in order to include them and also integrate them, in the use of shared green areas.
Via Co-Education in Green Interactive Database!
The project’s consortium has already developed an interactive database which is available on the project’s e-platform in English, and in all partners’ languages, i.e., Italian, Spanish, Greek, Lithuanian and Portuguese. This useful tool includes information about ways to transform urban areas into accessible shared green ones, that fall into the following categories:
Or otherwise, users can click on partners’ countries and find out information about the above categories in the desired language!
Anticipated additional help!
Moreover, partners are finalizing the second output of the project, the online Training Kit for educators. The Training Kit targets adult educators that wish to enhance their competences in leading environmental-oriented community education. The ultimate goal is to empower educators in helping local urban communities into transforming allocated spaces into green shared areas, within cities, accessible to as many people as possible. Co-Education in Green for all!
